Maggie joined the BFA Group in September 1986 when the strongest residential market was in the Spanish hinterland and with the Gibraltar market in its infancy. In the early 1990’s she was at the forefront of the new Home Ownership Scheme introduced by the local Government which revolutionized the Gibraltar property market. During the past 30 years her experience in the residential and commercial market has provided our many international and local clients with professional advice and success in obtaining their requirements. With constant development appraisal advise to many developers in Gibraltar throughout her career, Maggie and her team have an in-depth knowledge of the local market, a knowledge welcomed by clients and over the years have cemented the foundations in making BFA Group a respected company throughout the professional spectrum both locally and internationally.
Gloria joined our Estate Agency team in 1997 as our Administration/ Reception and later joined our Sales Team focusing on the Residential Rental Management providing her an extensive wealth of knowledge in this field. Seven years on, Gloria was offered another challenge as Estate Manager under our Management umbrella in particular looking after the Luxury developments within Queensway Quay. In 2012 she re-joined our Rental/Sales team where she applies her extensive skills and knowledge. A very valued team member and a true strength to BFA Group always with a wonderful disposition and happy to go that extra mile, a strength for which BFA Group are valued for.
Dale joined our Sales team late 2014, his natural ability in getting to know his clients together with his approach to selling and offering the client a complete service, ensures that the clients are well informed of all the properties and transaction details. Being conscious that a property purchase will be one of the most important transactions ever made by an individual, the bond with his clients is Trust, a trust which clients are only too happy to have in Dale. True to the Code of Conduct and strict RICS rules to which BFA Group are a member of.
Pamela who recently joined our Sales Team from our Management Administration department has arrived with renewed energy and is eager to introduce new Social Media ideas at the Agency. With her professional and well natured manner she is a pleasure to speak to and always happy to assist clients with any matter and will go the extra mile to ensure that our clients receive the service they deserve. No doubt a highly valuable member of our team.
Brian obtained his Degree in Building Surveying at North London Polytechnic in 1972. He was then awarded the Chartered Member status of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1974. He pursued a Civil Service career until 1986 when he resigned as Director of Crown Lands to set up his own private practice. He then founded Brian Francis and Associates Limited and Land Property Management Limited and as a result was awarded the status of Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors FRICS.
Mark obtained a 1st class Honours Degree in Urban Estate Management in 1995, when he was awarded the RICS Central London Prize. He worked with a development company in London where he gained experience in development and general valuation work until 2001 when he returned to Gibraltar to join his father's firm. He obtained his Chartered status in 2003 and has more than 15 years experience in valuation and other property consultancy services.
Paul Stagnetto graduated from Kingston University London in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in “Real Estate Management” and joined the firm shortly after his graduation. Paul completed a 2-year Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) in “Commercial Property Practice” via the RICS graduate training scheme, under his Supervisor (Mark Francis MRICS) and Counsellor (Brian Francis FRICS). Having successfully completed the APC, Paul was awarded the status of Professional Member of the RICS (MRICS) by the Chairman of Europe back in 2012. Paul is also the Department Head of BFA Property Portfolio Management.
BFA Management’s Director Mrs Yvonne Edmonds has been employed with our company since its inception. Mrs Edmonds is a key member in our Organisation having participated in the development of the management division and is responsible for the continuing expansion of our portfolio. The experience she has gained in all areas of property management, including the legal complexities of the Underleases and other governing documents of Management Companies is invaluable. She has been at the forefront of the development of all our management systems and her contribution to the success of BFA Management is immeasurable.
As Head of Management Colin is an extremely busy position in which he is responsible in ensuring that our estate managers carry out their duties effectively, as swiftly as possible and professionally. Also, being in constant communication with our clients on all aspects of management issues within their estates. He supervises the large management mechanism and always setting new trends to improve our services. Colin is also heavily involved in the running of our Company.
As I.T Manager Stephen's role is complex, since we operate our own bespoke system both for our database and accounting package, therefore he is constantly developing our systems and ensuring that the hardware of all our computers and our servers are working as they should. Stephen is also a Senior Member of Staff and heavily involved in all aspects of running our Company.
As our HR Manager Heather is dealing with all of our 31 members of staff, advising The Board on all aspects of HR issues as well as preparation of the Company’s salaries on a monthly basis. She is also a Senior Member of Staff and heavily involved in all aspects of running our Company including being responsible for the upkeep of our Company’s finances.
